Seton home school is the curriculum prepared for and used by Catholic home school educators and was developed by Dr. Anne Carroll when her Seton High School began growing and receiving requests to allow the courses to be taken by correspondence. Seton believes that home schoolers today are the leaders of tomorrow and offers Catholic curriculum for grades kindergarten through twelve. Their curriculum places a high emphasis on developing the child's Catholic faith as well as emphasizing works of Western Civilization.
Unlike some other homeschooling programs, Seton is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, meaning that those enrolled students who graduate from Seton's high school program receive a diploma. Seton requires twenty-two credits to graduate from high school, with each credit representing a year taken in a given subject.
